In their July issue Personal Computer Magazine carry an article on Hosted services in their Business section by Alan Stevens in which the alternatives to running ones own services are discussed. Accordingly to Stevens "It doesn't matter how modest your IT requirements managing your own PC's, servers and applications can still be a full time task."
The article goes on to discuss Web hosting and Hosted messaging services and says hosted email services vary considerably. Microsoft Exchange Hosting gets a particular mention as a growing sector and refers to Simply Mail Solutions as one such provider (only three are mentioned in total) and as being competitively priced.
